Body Contouring Surgery

Body contouring

Liposuction, abdominoplasty and breast augmentation — reshaping form and volume, sequenced against a realistic plan for your own anatomy.

Instrument tray detail
The idea

Body contouring covers a range of operations that change shape and proportion rather than treat the skin or face. What is right depends on what is actually driving the concern — localized fat, skin laxity after weight change or pregnancy, or volume that surgery alone can restore — and each of those points toward a different procedure.

A plan usually starts by ruling things out rather than in: whether the concern is realistically addressable through surgery, what a result looks like on your own tissue and frame, and how the recovery fits your life. What is offered here works alongside, not instead of, the regenerative and injectable side of the practice.

In practice

Where it is used

Liposuction
Removing localized fat to refine contour where diet and exercise have plateaued. Common areas include the arms, abdomen, flanks and love handles. It sculpts contour rather than reduces weight, and how well the result holds depends on the skin's own elasticity — assessed individually at consultation.
Abdominoplasty
Tightening the abdominal wall and removing excess skin after pregnancy, weight change or aging. Rectus diastasis — the midline separation of the abdominal muscles common after pregnancy — is repaired at the same time when present, and the procedure is often combined with liposuction to refine the surrounding waistline.
Breast Augmentation
Increasing breast volume and shape using cohesive gel implants or fat transfer. Implant size, profile and pocket placement are chosen against your own chest wall anatomy and goals; where the volume needed is modest, fat transfer alone can be enough, and the two approaches are sometimes combined.
Refining, Not Changing

Not every patient is a surgical candidate

Surgery solves problems non-surgical care cannot, but it is not automatically the better answer. Part of the consultation is an honest read on whether it is warranted at all, and if so, which of these operations actually addresses what you want changed.
