Dr. Pacifico Cruz is a board-certified plastic surgeon who moves fluently between reconstructive microsurgery and aesthetic facial surgery — work most practices keep apart — with regenerative technique carrying the same precision across both.
Dr. Pacifico Cruz completed his MD at the University of the Philippines College of
Medicine in 2015, then residency in the Divisions of Plastic Surgery and Burns at
UP–Philippine General Hospital (2016–2022) — a foundation in
reconstruction, burn care and lymphedema surgery that both his later fellowships
build on. He is a Diplomate of the Philippine Board of Plastic Surgery (2024).
He completed two fellowships: a full year under Dr. Rei Ogawa at Nippon Medical
School in Tokyo (2024–2025), whose work in reconstructive surgery,
microsurgery, keloid management and lymphedema is internationally recognised; and,
in 2025, aesthetic plastic surgery under Dr. Patrick Tonnard and Dr. Alexis
Verpaele in Ghent and at E:MC2 in Sint-Martens-Latem, Belgium (March–June;
MACS facelift, lipofilling, nanofat), with additional training in Brussels.
He consults across partner hospitals in Metro Manila, with his flagship lymphedema
surgery consultancy at St. Luke's Medical Center, BGC.

The MACS facelift, lipofilling and nanofat application were developed by Dr. Patrick Tonnard and Dr. Alexis Verpaele. Dr. Cruz trained under them directly, March to June 2025, in Ghent and at E:MC2 in Sint-Martens-Latem, with additional training in Brussels, Belgium.
Reconstructive surgery, microsurgery, keloid management and lymphedema were studied over a full year, 2024–2025, under Dr. Rei Ogawa at Nippon Medical School in Tokyo, whose work in the field is internationally recognised.
